Happy Hair
Hair products are outrageously expensive and most of them made of the same old stuff. My friend recently turned me on to L'oreal's new Everpure Shampoo and leave in moisture. I love finding an amazing 7 dollar product! The shampoo lathers up without yucky laurel sulfate and the leave in moisture is a clear gel that eliminates frizz and fly aways without the weigh down. I recommend.

Get your Korres on
Korres is changing their packaging. Lucky us, a large selection of products are 1/2 off at their store at 110 Wooster Street, just in time for xmas.
Hot Undies
Did you get your core body temperature read at the human vending machine in Times Square in November? Um, me neither but I was curious about the new HEAT TECHnology line that just launched at Uniqlo in NY. Heat Tech is a new line of thermalesque separates made of rayon and milk proteins that Uniqlo claims to "capture little pillows of toasty air"and keep you warm and dry. Sounds a bit like Patagonia eh? Its a little cheaper.
Who'll need it most?

Rodin Olio Lusso
Always inspired by the innovative Mona Kowalska, I wasn't surprised to discover a new obsession while browsing through her NY boutique, A Détacher the other day. Rodin Olio Lusso, a seductive jasmine skin elixer with a mix of 11 botanical oils and floral extracts that soothes your skin and leaves you with a radiant glow. This little heaven in a bottle is also available at John Darian.
Swedish Hasbeens
So I think I found a replacement for my beloved Comme des Garcons sandals that I completely destroyed last summer, Swedish Hasbeens.
Hasbeens will be available at Bird in February! But check out the organic collection by Steven Alan and sustainable gifts at Bird's holiday pop up shop in the burg, 203 Grand Street. The store will be officially opened next year.

Jonny Cournoyer and Old War Shirt
Check out my friend Jonny Cournoyer's new video for Old War Shirt directed by Adam Bluming www.adambuming.com/AB_dir_mvideo.html
Old War Shirt is an indie-folk band who calls Los Angeles home. Led by songwriter, Jonny Cournoyer, Old War Shirt can be described as "fast folk pop" with live performances that include David Pope on drums and Dustin Poulton on bass, keys and strange sounds. Their debut album Nighttime Songs Under the stars of San Rafael consists of solo recordings by Jonny recorded at his coffee table. The music ranges from dark, folky intimate compositions to upbeat rock songs with infectious melodies.
Jonny also plays with The Slings, M.S. Garvey and the Hootennanny All-Stars and Raymond Pettibon and the Niche Makers.

PAINTER T FROM JCREW
Ladies this T is the closest thing I've found to the famous 45 RPM gauze t-shirts that go for 100 bucks a pop. JCrew's got plain gauze t-shirts in solids for $34.50. They run big and stretch out a lot.
READY FOR LAYERS
We all love a little ZARA now and then. There are some suspiciously cool pieces in the store for fall already-a little bit YSL and a lot Isabel Marant. You know you want it. Jacket $149, Vest $89
P.S. ZARA restocks on Tuesdays and Saturdays
